Support to Bosnia & Herzegovina for development of National Action Programs aligned to the UNCCD 10 Year Strategy and Reporting Process under UNCCD

The project aimed at assisting Bosnia and Herzegovina in formulating the first ever NAP in line with the UNCCD 10-year Strategy resulting in improved planning and monitoring of UNCCD implementation at the national level for better decision making on desertification, land degradation and drought and sustainable land management issues.

Project resulted in:

1. final NAP in English and three local languages;

2. two expert workshops;

3. final stakeholder consultation workshop;

4. validation of the NAP and reports by the national bodies;

5. financial mechanism and technology needs for implementation of NAP;

6. policy framework for support of national efforts on NAP implementation;

7. dissemination of all relevant materials and documents via web-pages and in hard copies to relevant national bodies.
