European Researchers' Night is an event held across Europe at the initiative of the European Commission since 2005 as part of FP7, and the current Horizon 2020 program, which brings together a large number of visitors and researchers once a year, on the last Friday in September, with the exception of 2020 due to the consequences caused by the covid-19 pandemic. In 2020, this event was held in December.
On December 11th 2020, fea took part in the celebration of the European Researchers' Night for the third time in a row. This year, we decided to introduce our youngest audience to the erosion process and the possibilities of water to shape the soil. A short video will teach viewers how to mitigate and/or completely stop the destructive effects of water by using vegetation!
Its goal is to bring researchers closer to the public and encourage young people to enter their research careers in the future. European Researchers' Night allows you to discover research near you and gives you the opportunity to meet and talk to real researchers.
Due to the circumstances caused by the spread of Covid-19 virus infection, the video was made according to special instructions. Video can be viewed on the official Facebook fea and European Researchers' Night accounts.
