On January 19th 2021, fea organized an Online Forum within the Program "Empowerment of Communities through Democratic Natural Resources Management" which fea implements in cooperation with the Danish Forestry Extension - DFE and other partners from Nepal and Vietnam. Program is financed by Danish Government.
The forum was held through the ZOOM platform, and fea had the role of organizer. Topics on which respected experts in the field of forestry as lecturers at the Forum drew the attention of the participants are the following:
- The future of private forests in Bosnia and Herzegovina,
- Innovative and less innovative scenarios for private forest management and administration,
- Emergence of the Association of Private Forest Owners as new actors in forest policy,
- Raising awareness on the importance of private forests.
The presentations were followed by a discussion in which the participants voluntarily expressed their opinions and gave suggestions.
It was a great pleasure to share our opinions and experiences with the participants of the Forum and we hope to meet again soon.
