Net Zero mission - Carbon neutrality in Sarajevo’s Functional Urban Area

Project: EU FWC LOT 4 – Technical Assistance to the Net Zero Mission – Sarajevo Functional Urban Area

We are pleased to announce our participation in the EU-funded project “Technical Assistance to the Net Zero Mission – Sarajevo Functional Urban Area”. The project aims to support the transition to carbon neutrality for the Sarajevo Functional Urban Area (FUA), and focuses on the development of three essential strategic documents:

• The Climate City Contract (CCC)

• The Climate Neutrality Action Plan (CNAP)

• The Climate Neutrality Investment Plan (CNIP).

  
  

The project will encompass a series of key activities, including data collection, stakeholder engagement, assessment of current climate actions, and the identification of pathways to achieve climate neutrality in Sarajevo FUA. Additionally, the project define actions and necessary investments for reducing greenhouse gas emissions within the Agriculture, Forestry, and Other Land Use (AFOLU) sector.

By addressing these areas, the project will contribute significantly to the long-term sustainability and carbon neutrality of Sarajevo, and we look forward to contributing to its success.
