The overall objective was to support the Serbian Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management and the National Focal Point in finalization of an NDA institutional structure, dissemination mechanism, and no-objection procedure, as well as the Country Programme for engaging with the GCF, including identified potential accredited entities and respective support needs and NFP capacity building for the engagement with the GCF.

Project resulted in:

• Identification of  appropriate institutional structure for the NFP

• Creation of NFP dissemination mechanism with relevant information regarding GCF and Serbia’s involvement, responsibilities and possibilities

• Identification, support and strengthening knowledge and capacity of the NFP coordination team and other relevant stakeholders for engagement with the GCF

• Preparing a Country Programme, including Serbia's development  priorties with respect to the GCF

• Mapping potential accredited entities in the country and respective support needs.
